Circa 1974 per serial number. Barrels with a broadway vent rib fit with a Bradley style bead front sight and white composite (ivory?) mid bead. Typical legends for a Belgian manufactured superposed with 12 gauge Special Steel barrels, 2 - 3/4" chambers, and choke marks for Full over Improved Modified. Three-piece forearm with recessed finger grooves and flared nose, checkered about the Deely latch release. Action engraved in classic Diana pattern, with five pheasants in a meadow on left side, pair grouse on bottom, four ringnecks in a marsh on right, and a pair of alerting hares on the trigger guard; game scenes are supported by nicely cut acanthus scroll. Signed on both side "R. Bee" for Rosa Bee, the sister of Angelo Bee. Non-automatic safety with "S" inlaid ahead of slide, "O" and "U" abutting for selector positions. Stock configuration is square knob long tang, and made of a nicely fiddled walnut, with side panels, modified point pattern checkering about the wrist, and a Browning brown waffle pad with black and white line spacers and with covered screws. Stock possibly a restock, as dimensions are not quite factory standard and it does not match forearm. In Browning luggage case with factory paperwork, registration card, bottle of Hoppe's Powder Solvent, and cloth. CONDITION: Barrels with the vast majority of their bluing, with some scattered handling marks and silvering where forearm reciprocates along barrels. Front sight missing bead. Stocks very good with some scattered marks and impressions from the field, somewhat heavier at toe. Engraving excellent, crisp and well cut. Mechanically fine, bores very good with some carbon buildup towards chambers. Ejectors are strong and in time. Case fine, with sme expected age related distress.
