The archive letter states that this gun left the factory as a blue gun. It is probably a mistake in the records. This gun was shipped to Automatic Distributing Corporation 601 Lockwood Drive, Houston, Texas on May 24, 1979 in a shipment of 3 guns. Hard to find in this finish and combination. Vented ribbed barrel with a ramp front sight with an adjustable rear micrometer sight. Two piece checkered wood grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions. Six shot fluted cylinder. It is import marked "SIMPSON LTD GALESBURG ILL." CONDITION: This gun retains virtually all of the original factory applied nickel finish. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Checkered grips are sharp and crisp. The action indexes fine and locks up tight.
