Features browned Damascus finished full octagon barrel stamped "ALEX HENRY 8 South St. Andrew St., Edinburgh", two retaining ferrules for missing ramrod, front sight base without globe, blued folding ladder rear sight, engraved lock with English stalking safety stamped "ALEX HENRY". Walnut half stock with checkered pistol grip and forearm with a horn nose cap, smooth steel butt plate, and an engraved oval patch box with sling eyes. This rifle features fine scroll engraving on patch box, trigger guard, lock, hammer, pistol grip cap with trap, and upper tang. CONDITION: Excellent. The barrel retains majority of browned finish with some handling marks. The patch box, grip cap and trigger guard are a soft grey. Action and hammer have a thinned silvery-blue appearance. Stock is excellent with minor impressions. The bore is well defined but frosted.
