Manufactured circa 1925. This carbine is fitted with a highly desirable 15" "trapper" length barrel constructed of blued nickel steel with a full length magazine tube retained by a pair of barrel bands. Pinned German silver blade front sight and 1901 smokeless rear sight for .32 Winchester Special. Solid frame with saddle ring. Short 8" trapper carbine forend and plain walnut stock with carbine butt plate. A copy of an ATF exemption letter is included listing this gun by serial number as exempt from the provisions of the NFA. CONDITION: Very good for its age. Barrel and magazine tube retain the vast majority of their original factory blue with some mild wear near the muzzle, thinning, and other scattered marks. Receiver has strong traces of factory blue, the balance a gray patina with some cleaned oxidation spotting on the right side. Forend has been cleaned and reoiled with some scattered marks. Stock likewise has some scattered impressions. Strong, frosted bore. Fine mechanics. Rear sight appears to be missing a spring. A nice, very desirable configuration '94 trapper.
