Manufactured in 1863. This revolver has all matching numbers, including the cylinder and wedge. Features a fluted cylinder, blue finish with case colored frame, hammer, and lever, brass straps, one piece varnished walnut grips, and fire blue screws. Comes with period wood display case, an eagle powder flask, blued two cavity Colt mold, Eley Bro. Colt paper label cap tin, and a packet of 5 Colt New Model Police cartridges. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains nearly all the beautiful Colt original finish. The barrel shows hint of muzzle finish loss and a couple of age freckles and minor handling marks. The one line Colt barrel legend is sharp. The cylinder retains nearly all the blue as well with a light drag line and some minor high edge wear at face. Frame retains nearly full case color dulling on shield. Screw heads are true and retain their bright blue. Brass has toned. Grips have a few impressions. Action works correctly. The bore is bright. Lovely case with great accessories.
