Both pistols in identical configuration with false Damascus twist barrels with boss to assist in removal in the event of carbon buildup. Case colored round bodies with side hammers engraved with florals and foliate designs, boldly gold inlaid "LEPAGE / A PARIS" at breech. With Belgian proofs on left sides of actions, indicating that LePage retailed the guns. Foldout triggers and dark wood stocks. Housed in a burl walnut case with green baize lining and French fit for pair pistols, nipple wrench, unusual cigar type powder flask, small wood barrel of percussion caps, case key, key on ring to assist in cocking pistols, and combination bullet mold, barrel removal tool, sprue cutter, and nipple wrench. CONDITION: Barrels with approximately half of their twist remaining, mixed with gunmetal grey and soft chocolate brown .Actions with about half of the case colors, more on pistol (A) than (B), with dove grey flashes and areas of surface oxidation on strap of pistol (B). Stock of pistol (B) has a tight and small hairline stress crack at tang. Both are mechanically fine, extremely tight, with strong rifling. Case with handling marks and rubs. Accessories are fine.
