The safety is marked SAFE in the upper position. DWM in scroll on the front toggle link. American Eagle over the chamber. It is GERMANY export marked on the right side of the receiver and the front of the frame below the serial number. On the right side of the receiver is "A.F. STOEGER IN / NEW YORK.". The front sight has been changed to a brass bead sight. Two piece checkered wood grips. Nickel magazine with a blank wood bottom. Strawed small parts. This gun is featured on page 759 of The Borchardt & Luger Automatic Pistols by Joachim Gortz & DR. Geoffrey Sturgess. The barrel was probably installed by Stoeger. Ex: Dr. Geoffrey Sturgess. CONDITION: This gun retains the vast majority of the blue and straw finish. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Checkering on the grips is sharp and crisp.
