Circa 1890s to 1900. Beautifully matted and framed under plexiglass. Printed by the United States Printing Company and marked as such in lower right corner. This was a large two sheet poster which was professionally mounted on linen 25 to 30 years ago, when Harry Burstein owned it. The two sheets are joined at girl's waist and each sheet has some minor fold marks that were flattened when mounted with quality restoration at only a few of those lines. The theme, color, and image depicted is classic and evocative of that period of US history. Only a few advertising signs have ever sold for more money than this exact poster realized in the early 1990s when offered at auction in Maine.

Condition: (Excellent - Near Mint).

Item Dimensions: Framed: 63" x 47".
MASSIVE TOPSY SMOKING TOBACCO 2-SHEET POSTER.
