Designed by John M. Browning, the rugged and potent .50 caliber M2 machine gun has been the standard heavy machine gun of the US Armed Forces since the 1930s, seeing heavy use worldwide into the present. This semi-automatic only variation of the truly iconic M2 HB was constructed by Ohio Ordnance from a combination of new made and surplus parts. It features full gray parkerized finishes, GI heavy profile barrel, hooded blade front sight, flip up ladder aperture rear sight, and spade grips with a butterfly trigger. Gun is housed in a fitted hard sided case with its manual. It is also accompanied by a high quality SureFire HellFighter spotlight with M88A mount and factory hard case, along with an ammo can of links. CONDITION: Excellent, as new. Nearly all of the parkerized finishes are retained with a few rubs, especially on the barrel. Crisp, well defined bore with some residue. Consignor states they purchased this gun new and has never fired it. Spotlight was not tested for function but appears excellent overall. A great modern collectible.
