Dovetail lump barrels with a bead front sight and two leaf folding rear sight,standing leaf marked for 100 yard regulation, folding leaf marked for 200 yards, both with silver express lines. Engraved "TRULOCK & HARRIS / 9. DAWSON St DUBLIN" over chambers. Small dovetailed insert between Trulock information is screwed into the matte rib. Shell motif engraving on rib extension, breeches with stiff leaf engraving. Underside of rib with sling eye on island sweated to underside of rib. Barrel flats with British Nitro proofs, view and proof marks, "T&H" mark for Trulock & Harris, and "450 EX" caliber designation. Extractors. Splinter forearm with turning lever release and modified point pattern checkering. Lever and exterior engraved with acanthus scroll work, lever tip checkered. Interior of turn off lever numbered "8531". Case colored boxlock action engraved "TRULOCK & HARRISS" with acanthus scrollwork throughout. Hidden third fastener, disc set strikers, and action flats with serial number and view proof. Automatic safety with "SAFE" engraved ahead of slide. Double triggers protected by a blued trigger guard that runs all the way to a case colored pistol grip cap. Fiddledbacked walnut stock with sidepanels, pistol grip, point pattern checkering about the wrist, shadowline cheekpiece, brass vanity oval and a sling bow on toe line, and checkered buttplate. CONDITION: Good as completely refurbished. Barrels have been reblued with legends softened, areas of oxidation visible under the bluing throughout, and some surface oxidation on left barrel. Action with nearly all of the case colors, some thinning to sharp edges. Stocks with heavy handling marks and impressions, with some chipping to pistol grip and some scattered chips to checkering. Buttplate with surface oxidation and crazing. Mechanically fine, lever is far to the right, bores with strong rifling and mild frosting.
