Very high-quality Finnish manufactured Valmet Model 78 which is essentially a finer made and fitted version of the AK-47 platform. This specimen has a fixed wooden stock with bipod and muzzle break. No magazine present. This gun is also marked with typical factory markings with "VALMET" and “Made in Finland" on the right side of the receiver. Electronic NFA registry indicates “FORM 2 REGISTRATION” as the manufacturer, and it was Fleming Firearms Inc. PROVENANCE: From the machine gun collection of William “Happiness is a Warm Machine Gun” Fleming. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original smooth gray matte blue finish with some light handling marks. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent. Wood and composite furnishings near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. An extremely well-made machine gun which is also a very fun recreational shooter.
