This is another work-in-progress project from the William Fleming collection. It is a Ruger .22 Pistol registered machine gun receiver with a ported barrel and manufactured by SWD with Atlanta address and Cobray logo on the top of the receiver. Ejector and barrel are installed, with number on flat of barrel, “17” matching the receiver number. Ported barrel is welded to the receiver, so it is permanently affixed. Awaiting the fitting and installation of necessary parts to become a Ruger Standard pistol machine gun. Electronic NFA registry indicates, “SW DANIEL” as the manufacturer. PROVENANCE: From the machine gun collection of William “Happiness is a Warm Machine Gun” Fleming. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent matte blue finish turning to a gray patina at the high bearing surfaces. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. A very interesting and intriguing project for someone to take on to complete. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2025-09-135.
