This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/9/2025
Manufactured and registered by an unknown American manufacturer “JGM”. Top plate retains “ML II*” marking over “B 203 664 / B”. Perforated shroud with muzzle is a separate piece unattached to the gun. Original belt holding box is also included with this lot. Innovative contemporarily produced ground use cradle incorporates a pintle/stirrup at the front, with inverted Browning .50 caliber handles with actuator to trip the sear. This rear backplate assembly fits nicely at the rear of the gun. This Browning aircraft light machine gun is set up to feed left to right with charging handle on right side. Electronic NFA registry indicates “FORM 2 REGISTRATION” as the manufacturer. PROVENANCE: From the machine gun collection of William “Happiness is a Warm Machine Gun” Fleming. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is fine original finish turning a brown patina with scattered brown pinpick corrosion. Internals are extremely fine and clean. Bore is shiny but with cratering. This cataloger has never seen anything quite like it. Barrels for this gun can be acquired. Mechanics are fine with a good stiff mainspring. These guns are great fun at the firing range, and this one has all the indicators that it has been a recreational machine gun. See the Israeli Browning tripod in this same auction as a potential companion piece. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2025-09-151.
