This is the early (and difficult to find today) WWII 111" from face of chamber to muzzle 75mm barrel which would have been employed in the early World War II Sherman tanks. So many of the Sherman tanks which survived and now are on display or in collections have been retrofitted with the later, shorter barrel. No breech ring or breech is included with this barrel, so it is not considered a firearm, nor an NFA item. This barrel has never been deactivated or cut into in any way. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is very good, as found stored inside, with much of the paint coverage intact with otherwise brown corrosion on the exterior surfaces. Bore and chamber are brown and dark yet with strong rifling. If you, or your organization desires to restore a WWII Sherman tank to the configuration it would have had during WWII, this is the rare find you have been looking for. JWK 2024-09-159.

CORRECTION: This is actually an M6 gun tube in 75mm, which would have been emplaced on a WWII M24 Chaffee tank, not a Sherman. They remained in service through the 1960s.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
VERY RARE ORIGINAL "LONG" 75 MM SHERMAN TANK BARREL (NO BREECH RING).
