Highly sought after and exceedingly rare fully transferable Beretta Model PM12S machine gun. The “12” series of Beretta machine guns are renown in the Class III collecting and shooting community as being thoroughly enjoyable and effective shooting pistol caliber machine guns. The 12S model was the second in the progression of these models. It is an exceptionally well manufactured and finished modern machine gun with ergonomic vertical foregrip, folding metal shoulder stock, and grip safety on the front of the handgrip. One original 40 round magazine included. This gun was transferred on a Form 4 into the consignor’s personal trust, and then subsequently transferred to Morphy’s for auction without restriction. Additionally, original law enforcement sticker “Property of Baltimore County, MD” with property number remains on the right side of the gun. These are all clear indicators that the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (BATF) has determined that this gun has met the requirements of, “26 U.S.C. 5844(1) government use import exception" and is fully transferable. Electronic NFA registry indicates “IMPORTED NFA FIREARM” as the manufacturer. PROVENANCE: Copy of redacted incoming ATF Form 4 without any restrictions indicated. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is fine original factory finish with most of the finish remaining or otherwise thinning and showing a pleasing gray patina. Magazine has a dull blued finish. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. Any Beretta 12 series machine gun is quite scarce in the National Firearms Act Registry, and fully transferable to individual specimens are exceedingly scarce indeed.
