Circa 2009 per AK date code. This rifle has the borderline unobtainable "HK416" rollmark, as HK typically reserves those rollmarks for their Military and Law Enforcement sales, and prefers to use an "MR556" designation for the civilian sale rifles. Despite that, Hurricane Butterfly Imports did manage to get a very small number of HK416 lowers into the United States as pistols, and they sold out almost immediately. This is one of those imports subsequently converted to an SBR, with both Hurricane Butterfly and trust information neatly engraved in the trigger guard. Fit with a SureFire Warcomp, 9" HK quad rail rail, HK pistol grip, and HK E1 buttstock. Upper and lower with matching serial numbers, HK416C stock support hole, German nitro proofs for a gun proofed at Ulm, and "HK416" rollmark. All legends have been left in neat lozenges with balance desert tan cerakote. Bolt has visible "HK" through ejection port and a visible German nitro proof on bolt head. Buffer spring weight with "HK" logo on head. HK black steel magazine. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the cerakote finish throughout, with some handling marks and thinning of cerakote to sharp edges, a few spots worn through. Polymer components with some handling marks. Mechanically fine, bore excellent, with bright, strong rifling. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS A SHORT BARRELED RIFLE.
