Developed in 1943 by William Godfray de Lisle, the integrally suppressed De Lisle Commando Carbine was used during the World War II by British Commandos and Special Operations Executive for various covert operations, including assassinating German officers. This quality modern replica is constructed on a 1943 Long Branch No 4. Mk I* receiver with modified short throw bolt for .45 ACP. It feeds from a modified 1911 magazine. Rifle sports a massive 19" integrally mounted suppressor which is mounted with a protected night front sight and standard SMLE rear sight. Suppressor is supported by a custom walnut beavertail forend. Stock is impressed with Cotton Branch logo and fitted with a brass butt plate. CONDITION: Excellent as built. Nearly all of the matte black finish is retained. Stocks show a few light impressions. Bright bore. Suppressor has some expected firing residue. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 CLASSIFIED AS "SILENCER".
