Mismatched MG34 with Waffenwerke Brunn (eagle over 63) proof on receiver with “dot 1943” marked shroud. None of the parts on this gun appear to be matching. Two spare barrels, one Israeli and the other Nazi proofed, in addition to the one in the gun, and an original Nazi marked barrel carrier are included with this lot. No bipod present. Top cover is unmarked except for “2528a”. Electronic NFA registry indicates “NEAL E. SMITH” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is fine original finish thinning and turning into a pleasant gray patina. Buttstock has numerous dings and handling marks, but remains completely serviceable. Israeli barrel has a chrome lined near excellent bore, and Nazi barrel’s bore is extremely fine to near excellent. Non-matching Nazi barrel in gun is fine with firing residue. Mechanics are crisp and positive. This is a select-fire machine gun. The MG-34 is one of the most iconic and desired collectible German machine guns from WW2. It was the belt fed gun which was the staple of the German army from the start of WWII until well after 1942, as over time it was supplanted in service by the MG-42. No WW2 German machine gun collection is complete without one. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
