Very seldom encountered registered fully transferable for private ownership .50 caliber machine gun cut-away. A significant amount of the sideplate, and exterior of other parts in this gun have been cut away to reveal the inner workings. No backplate is present, but one can see from the position of the buffer in the bottom of the receiver, link chute attachment on the right side of the feedblock, and the shiny argent silver paint at the muzzle that this is a cut-away display of an aircraft gun. No charging handle nor associated hardware present, and no sight present on top of trunnion. High Standard manufactured bolt present with firing pin but also cut-away. Chamber is 1/2 cut away, but enough remained that a cylindrical plug has been welded in place to prevent a misguided and dangerous attempt to chamber a live round. Registered serial number is on the bottom of the trunnion of this NFA item. Electronic NFA registry indicates “HIGH STANDARD” as the manufacturer. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine original dull gray finish throughout with red paint on many of the cut-away edges. Some speckling of brown which should clean up just fine. Bore retains a matte dull gray finish as unfired. Bolt face extremely fine. This gun is currently non-functional, but should someone with the appropriate parts and expertise desire, it could be reworked into a firing condition. This is why it is registered with the BATF as a machine gun, and it might be Curio & Relic eligible as it sits. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2025-09-229.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
