Receiver manufactured by Inland Division of General Motors in their 3rd block of production between January and August of 1944. T.D. Manufacturing subsequently registered it in short barrel configuration and added their manufacturer mark to the left side of the frame. Barrel has been shortened and the military protected blade front sight reset. Adjustable aperture rear sight. Rebuilt internals including round bolt, flip safety, and M2 magazine catch. Trigger guard is stamped "LKG ST / 1202" indicating 1950s issue to the Austrian Gendarmerie. Carbine is fitted with a reproduction M1A1 paratrooper style sidefolding stock. CONDITION: Very good. Arsenal parkerized finishes show some wear on edges and working surfaces. Stock has light handling marks. Crisp, bright bore. Fine mechanics. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS A SHORT BARRELED RIFLE.
