Emporia, KS. A very unique sign, back in the late 1930s or early 1940s, a neon glass bender in Emporia, KS who raced greyhounds as a passionate hobby made this sign and hung it in the front window of his shop on Main Street. It hung there for 40 years and was bought by a collector 30 years ago. It is a custom wood frame and back handpainted grass, red rabbit and blue greyhound are done in three positions, on on top of the other. The sequences make it appears as if they are running.
