1940s. Battle Creek, MI (1931). The first neon sign was a Packard sign that hung in California in 1928. Neon was new and people did not know what it was. This small case plugs in to light up the neon "NEON" unit. The framed license for this company is dated 1931. The photo book shows each department of the company and numerous examples of their work. A spectacular piece of history from the beginning of neon in America.
