From the Schering Collection: 1963 to 1969. Seven mortars and pestles from the annual Schering Collection that started in 1963 to promote the cold medicine Coricidin. Each year had a new design and shape that commemorated historical events in pharmacy. Each came with its own box and pamphlet explaining what the design commemorated. The boxes and pamphlets were frequently discarded. These 7 sets are the first in the series and are from 1963-1969: 1963 (Secundum Artem), 1964 (Ebers Papyrus), 1965 (Galen), 1966 (Cosmas and Damian), 1967 (William Proctor, Jr.), 1968 (Maimonides), 1969 (Louis Hebert).

Condition: (Good - Excellent).
