American. Includes no. 8976 steam type switcher engine, no. 2227B slope back tender, no. 2953 shell tank car, no. 2954 boxcar, and no. 2957 New York City tender. Some of the usual zinc spotting on roofs. All items have their original individual boxes. Engine, tender, and a couple car boxes have their original inserts. Tank car box is missing both flaps and caboose flap has one detached but present flap. This set came from the family of the original owner.
