SSP. Maker mark "Walker & Co., Detroit." C. 1930s Oldsmobile single-sided porcelain sign, with outstanding Art Deco look. CONDITION: Sign has good color and gloss throughout, with minor areas of surface scuffing, most notably below the "O" and the "B" of "Oldsmobile." Sign has match paint over porcelain chips on all the porcelain panels, most significantly on the top black and yellow panel. There is also match paint on both the outer field and at four of the six mounting holes. The outer edges of the sign also have very minor areas of match paint, most significantly on the bottom blue and grey striped panel. The sign has been added to a new can, which is in excellent structural shape. The glass tubing is in excellent condition, and lights blue. It also has a new electrical cord. An overall tremendous sign you'll almost never have the chance to buy.
