This outstanding c. 1910s double-sided figural trade sign in the form of an early pair of eye-glasses from Dr. Blakey Optometrist features four (total) reverse painted glass lenses with great eye-ball graphics. CONDITION: Side 1 remains clean and vibrant. The glass lenses shows a few small flecks of paint loss in the field of the reverse painted glass sections. The gold "Dr. Blakey" lettering was likely re-touched at some point. The body of the sign shows a nice patina black paint (8.5) Side 2 remains just as nice, with the glass lenses showing light paint chips, hardly worth mentioning. The gold lettering was likely brightened up at some point in the past. (8.5) The sign lights up nicely and has a newer power cord for safety. An impressive and early piece of optometric history.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.

Condition: (Very Good).
