Once displayed at the famed F.A.O. Schwarz toy store, this rare nodding monkey automaton remains in its original condition and is a great addition to any toy collection. The display also retains its original F.A.O Schwarz makers paper decal, reading "Importers of Toys, Fancy Goods and Novelties". There is moderate wear throughout and shows age, such as loss of fabric to the monkeys body but the facial hair is intact. The mother's face has mobile eyes and jaw while the baby's face is hand painted. Includes crank key.
