Charming and whimsical, this is only the 2nd known pair extant of Garcia special order "Rabbit" spurs featuring engraved snuggling and sleeping bunnies on front and back. These coin silver overlaid spurs have vaquero style heel chains and are constructed on a Garcia "Dandy" style blank similar to their catalog pattern No. 75. Spurs are prominently, deeply and correctly maker-marked "G.S. GARCIA" on one spur and "ELKO NEV" on the other. The partial curved drop shanks with barrel chap guard are inlaid across the top securing 2", 14-point spoked and etched rowels with scalloped and engraved washers on both sides. Undeniably, a remarkable and unique pair of spurs that would make a striking addition to even the most sophisticated California spur collections. Overall fine condition, and mounted with marked "R. T. Frazier, Pueblo, Colo." straps. Circa 1920s.

Item Dimensions: Each: 4" x 2 - 1/2" x 9".
