DST. Sign is Maker Marked W.F.R. Co., Springfield, Ohio. A very unique and seldom seen Tin Flange Sign from Champion Spark Plugs showing an excellent Spark Plug graphic on each side as well as Tin Litho iron bracket graphic. CONDITION: Side one shows excellent color and gloss throughout the field showing an excellent condition Spark Plug graphic as well as clean script. Side one shows a few areas of surface scratch in the left field as well as minor areas of light wear along the outer edge but overall very clean, Grade 8.5+. Side two also shows excellent color & gloss throughout the field with a clean graphic as well as unique Champion script. Side two shows a few areas of light staining some of which may be removed as well as a few areas of minor surface scratches and paint loss. The red Champion Globe graphic of side two shoe some minor fading and side two hows minimal wear along the outer edges but overall displays well, Grade 8.5+. The flange portion of the sign is in very good condition showing minor paint loss at the mounting holes and overall displays well. A very unique and excellent displaying piece of early Champion Spark Plugs Advertising.
