Standard features include full octagon barrel, full magazine, German nickel front sight, semi-buckhorn rear sight, blued finish, case colored hammer and lever, walnut stocks, and case colored buttplate. CONDITION: This fine 1873 rifle has been expertly restored to near new condition. The octagon barrel and tube are a blue mixed with soft patina with razor sharp legends. Frame retains 98% of the restored Winchester type high polish blue finish. Hammer, lever and buttplate retain 95% of the beautiful charcoal reapplied case colors. Wood is excellent; has been restored with only a few nicks. The surprising aspect of this rifle is one of the nicest bores we have seen, rating a solid near mint with sharp lands and grooves. It is both handsome and should be a good shooter as well. DB
