Originally manufactured circa July 1944 and updated circa mid-1960s for the U.S. Navy by Harrington and Richardson. This Mk 2 Mod 0 uses a repurposed "8 44" dated barrel which has been bushed and is correctly stamped "H&R G 7.62 NATO". Protected blade front sight and locking bar rear. Rebuilt internals interestingly including a Beretta bolt. Standard walnut stocks with rack numbers stamped on the wrist. Includes 2024 CMP certificate which documents this rifle as a M1 MK 2 MOD 0. CONDITION: Good. Rifle retains nearly all of its arsenal parkerized finishes with some light wear. Stock is fair showing heavy wear and use with some large nicks and dings. Good, frosted bore. ME reads under 3. Fine mechanics.
