Ca. 1964, this nitro proofed London best "Super Trap" gun is featured with a removable ventilated matted (stippled) flat top rib with dual steal sights. Near breech rib reads "HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 13, BRUTON STREET, LONDON." Mono-bloc blued steel barrel with standard proof marks and scroll engraved wings. Coin finished action, full coverage scroll engraving with "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" in banner on both sides. Boxlock action with single polished trigger and ejector. Nicely figured walnut and finely checkered pistol grip stock with low Monte Carlo comb, metal grip cap, silver oval for initials (A*E*C) and oxblood colored leather recoil pad. Scroll engraved coin finished hardware and right hand rolled trigger guard. Forend is a slim beavertail with an engraved screw release. CONDITION: Barrels retain 90% plus original blue with some usage marking at muzzle, on rib and under forearm. Stock and forearm are very good to excellent with some slight handling marks. Checkering is sharp with some slight handling marks at forearm. Comes with leather covered hard travel case in fine condition. CP
