A handsome vintage 28 gauge with 26" barrels built circa 1920's. Boxlock with flat top matted, extended rib with dual brass bead sights. Both sides of action are engraved with a broad floral design and read "Ithaca Gun Co./Ithaca, N.Y.". Double triggers and top strap with lever slightly still left. Non-ejector with automatic safety. Slender cast off pistol gripped stock with cap and original Ithaca butt plate. Splinter snap forend. CONDITION: Good. Barrels ring like bells and retain approximately 90 plus percent of their original blue. Stock and forend showing some handling marks and checkering is present but semi flat.
