A semi-automatic version of the Italian BM59, approximately 1,500 were manufactured in Italy by Beretta for Benet Arms. Although produced for the civilian market, these rifles were built largely with standard BM59 parts and feature standard parkerized finish with military style finger groove walnut stocks. Unlike their military counterparts this example is not fitted with a muzzle brake or grenade launching sights. Barrel is dated 1965. Stock is also fitted with an original rubber Beretta recoil pad. 1 20-round magazine is included along with a Nobuckl sling. CONDITION: Very good. Nearly all of the factory parkerized finish is retained with only mild high edge wear. Stock has light scattered impressions. Butt pad has crystallized and is starting to disintegrate. Very good bright bore, crisp mechanics. TE measures approximately 1.5.
