Left side of receiver bears a hand-engraved "DJd9393" on the left side of the chamber area, with "HK 93" followed by the serial number above a "(Eagle) / N" proof, "HK" date code (79), as well as an Ulm proof house antler proof present on the left side of the magazine well. Left side of receiver (beneath the trigger housing) and right side of trigger pack bear a hand-engraved "dE". Right side of receiver bears stampings stipulating the importer and caliber designations. Top of bolt carrier is marked "HK 9/76". 2-position trigger housing is marked "S" and "F". Metal components exhibit a matte gray enamel finish, with the trigger housing retaining a black enamel finish.
