Just beautiful condition folding stock Korean manufactured Type 58 Folding stock (AK-47 copy) machine gun. Visible matching numbers including forend, receiver, bolt, and mainspring guide rod. Clear Korean star within circle proof and model markings as well and serial number and original selector markings. Electronic registry is blank in the manufacturer’s block, however extremely close inspection indicates the receiver was saw-cut slightly rear of center of the magazine well and then painstakingly carefully re-welded together, only barely discernible, but looking inside the magazine well one can see it. Includes two brown Norinco marked 30 round magazines. The folding stock AK-47 style weapons regardless of maker are among the most sought after of the modern Vietnam era machine guns. The Korean folding stock model 58 is among the rarest and most sought after of all the variants and very, very few are in the United States as fully transferable guns. They are a piece of modern military history as well as great recreational machine guns at the range. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent deep lustrous refinish upon remanufacture. Beautiful clear markings on metal and wood parts, which are near excellent. Typical line where safety/selector rides on the receiver and perhaps a handling mark or two. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. This is a select fire machine gun. An absolutely superb specimen of its kind and stunningly attractive. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. JWK 2020-05-012
