Beautiful high quality Beretta BM-59 Machine gun which is strikingly similar to the M-14. Marked P. BERETTA with address and serial number on top of rear receiver with abbreviated manufacturer and model markings on top of bolt. Also marked on left side of receiver "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY". Features include muzzle brake, flip-up grenade launcher sight, folding bipod and flip-up shoulder rest, recessed in a hard composite buttplate. Includes one 20 round magazine. Only receiver is externally serialized. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish extremely fine to near excellent original smooth dull blue finish with extremely fine wood which shows the occasional handling marks with a 2 - 1/2” long slight crack at center top of handguard (fixable). There is some brassing to the carrying handle finish as well. Mechanics are fine. Bore is extremely fine, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine. This is a select fire machine gun.
