(N) BILLISTICS REGISTERED HECKLER AND KOCH 91A3 REWORKED INTO HK 23E BELT FED MACHINE GUN (FULLY TRANSFERABLE).

This is a registered receiver tabbed four-position pictograph selector HK 91A3 lower reworked into a 5.56 mm HK23E heavy barreled machine gun. Marked on left above feed shuttle “HK” with serial number. Additional markings on left side are faint “Heckler & Koch Gmbh Heckler & Koch Inc” over “Made in Germany” and “Sterling, VA”. Other marking to the left of these is “WARNING / REFER TO OWNERS MANUAL”. Gun features quick-change heavy barrel as well as bipod and carrying handle. Bird cage style flash hider at muzzle. Accessories include feed-shuttle assembly marked “HK 23E” with “id”. A second, articulating feed assembly, attached to a box ammunition can is also included as well as two additional metal box ammunition cans still new in wrapper. Electronic NFA registry indicates “HECKLER AND KOCH GMBH” in the manufacturer’s block, and .308 as caliber. The caliber can be updated by requesting this through the BATF. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent black hard coat refinish upon remanufacture with matte blue finish on bipod, feed shuttles, and ammunition can. Composite furnishings of buttstock and pistol grip near excellent. Bore is and bolt are near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. An exceptionally fine and very seldom encountered recreational machine gun in a very popular caliber. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
