Colt Model 614 also marked AR-15. This gun is in true classic configuration with triangular handguards, bird cage flash hider, forward assist, windage only adjustable rear sight and rectangular trap door in buttstock. No magazine present, however a spare bolt is included in this lot. This is in the configuration so well known to American military personnel. Electronic NFA registry indicates "COLT" in the manufacturer’s block. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent original matte finish with some loss of finish at the high edges of the magazine well. Composite furnishings near excellent. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select fire machine gun. Pretty difficult to upgrade the condition of this specimen, which is a variant that does not often surface for sale. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER.
