This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/17/2021
Manufactured by P.A.W.S. (Police Automatic Weapons Service) as a close copy of the reliable British Sterling machine gun, manufactured in America with new components and surplus British parts. The top of the magazine well is marked "P.A.W.S. INC/ SALEM, ORE./ U.S.A./ ZX7" above the serial number. Selector is marked "A", "F", "S". Features include a black "wrinkle" finish, 8" barrel, standard Sterling pattern front & rear sights, under folding buttstock, as well as a checkered polymer pistol grip. Manufacturer's block is listed as "FORM 2 REGISTRATION". Complete with two additional magazines that have been modified for use with the ZX7. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their black "wrinkle" finish, exhibiting some scattered areas of wear and some flaking that show through to silvering. Bore is bright, exhibiting a ring of oxidation towards the muzzle, but otherwise retaining good rifling throughout. Mechanics are crisp. Polymer grip shows some marks from handling and storage but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. A great .45 acp version of the British Sterling and a lot of fun at the range. This is serial number "1" of a very small run of .45 acp guns. Likely fewer than 25 were made in this caliber. A rare opportunity for the discerning and forward-thinking collector. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4. MLW/JWK
