For the advanced and discerning machine gun collector/investor. This is the ONLY fully transferable example of this model in the National Firearms Act registry. Original BATF signed letter included with this gun documents this gun as being fully transferable to individuals. Knowledgeable persons in the NFA community are aware of "number 37" and will attest to its authenticity. In addition to the BATF letter, the original shipping box is included with this near mint machine gun. Known as the "Minimi" or Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) in the United States military. This model utilizes either a belt or magazine ammunition feeding system. It is gas piston operated, fires from an open bolt, and utilizes a rotary bolt locking system, with a quick detachable chrome lined barrel. Marked with various assembly numbers and manufacturer's number "MFR-3S679". Serial number "E00037". Scan of letter from BATF included for review. CONDITION: Near excellent condition throughout. Gun is unfired, except as what may have been done for test firing at factory. Top cover rail and mechanism within top cover or feed tray are excellent and show no evidence of firing. Bore and bolt face near excellent and absolutely clean. Condition just about as fantastic as one could hope for, but the fact that this is the ONLY fully transferable specimen of its kind in the American National Firearms Act registry surpasses condition considerations.
