Extremely attractive and eye-catching German WW2 MG34 manufactured in 1941 by “dfb” (Gustloff) with eagle over “4” proofs on various locations including top and sides of receiver. Visible numbers appear matching on shroud, top cover “bpr” (Grossfuss), receiver, and buffer. Feed tray exhibits both original “4228” and renumber “1379” on left side. Handgrip is numbered “21”. Extremely rare and desirable steel-capped toe and heel buttstock and buffer cup are number 2938 with exquisite eagle over “63” on left side indicating Waffenwerke Brunn manufacture. Three original Nazi marked barrels are included, none of which match gun’s SN. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near extremely fine refinish over very light pitting. Buffer also refinished but not buttstock hardware. Bakelite butt has some small dings and handling marks but is one of the best ever encountered. Bores of all three barrels are near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt appears to be an un-numbered armorers replacement and is extremely fine. Mechanics are crisp. This is a select-fire machine gun. An incredibly attractive MG-34 that, with the exception of the butt, appears matching unless one gets right in close and personal. A great gun for the WW2 German military collector, and a gun that is great fun to shoot at the range as well. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 18-107
