Developed and manufactured in the 1930s by E. Carlstrom of Chicago. Made to be mounted on the user's wrist or concealed under a sleeve with leather straps. Trigger mechanism would be operated by a string hooked to a finger, ring, or something of that sort, in this case a sleeve button. The barrel has a knurled ring to make it easier to thread off for loading. CONDITION: Good, with traces of the original nitre bluing remaining on firing mechanism with almost all of the metal finishes turned a gray patina. Leather straps and mount are very good with no major tears or handling marks. Mechanically fine. Bore shows heavy machine marks throughout. A very interesting AOW.
