The Beretta model 4 is the immediate post-WW2 successor to the Beretta Model 38/42, and retains the silhouette and double trigger system of its ancestor. One trigger for semi-auto fire and the other for full-auto fire. What is new is the safety button through the stock and the very fine fit and high lustrous blue finish found on these weapons. Sliding cover at cocking handle slot on receiver tube, simple fixed sights, and smooth barrel with two-slot muzzle break. One sling, one 30 round, and one 20 round magazine are included with this gun as well as gray nylon sling. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent lustrous blue finish on metal parts with some very light handling marks to the wood. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face extremely fine although action has firing residue and could use a cleaning. This is a select-fire machine gun and the consignor states a fantastic shooter ! Attractive blonde wood ! THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS TRANSFERABLE ONLY TO ACTIVE FFL/SOT DEALERS ON AN ATF FORM 3 BUT MAY BE RETAINED BY SOLE PROPRIETOR FFL/SOT HOLDERS WHEN THEY RELINQUISH THEIR LICENSES UPON BATF APPROVAL.
