Barrel code dates to 1932. Manufactured as a small "whippit" riot gun for police. Barrel is a fixed cylinder choke. Bottom of pistol grip is marked with "22" in red lettering, presumably a police rack number. CONDITION: Good, with metal finishes turned a blue-brown patina with high edge wear throughout. Stock and forearm are in similar condition, with wear throughout. Pistol grip has a few areas of handling marks most notably on the underside near trigger guard, and a chip at the left side. Mechanically fine. Bore is lightly frosted and smooth.
