Absolutely fantastic find ! New unfired, with original packing materials in original carboard box M60E3 machine gun. Two sealed black heavy duty plastic bags containing total of 2000 links are included with this lot. Original factory cardboard inserts and preservative paper is included with this gun as well as U.S. Marine Corps Technical Manual, and cover latch wrench, and other tools still sealed in their original factory plastic shipping pouch. The M60E3 is the improved and lightened model of the M60 which was fielded in 1986. It was nominally fielded with a lightweight barrel intended to provide greater mobility as well as with a standard heavier barrel for when sustained fire was desired. This specimen is one of the very few of this model which managed to meet the cut-off to be fully transferable to individuals. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish new unfired and mint in original cardboard shipping box. Composite parts finish near excellent. Box exhibits some brassing to the edges, and tape glue stains but remains a serviceable container. Bore and bolt are both mint.
