From a distance this rifle looks like an M16A1 machine gun from the mid-late 1980's with bird cage flash hider, heavy barrel, bolt forward assist, and round handguards. Closer examination reveals a thumb-friendly rear sight windage adjustment knob. The real noticeable difference comes when the observer picks up this rifle and notices the heft. Instead of lightweight aluminum, the receiver is made of stainless steel! Group Industries made a few this way to capitalize on market demand, and some forward thinking owner made sure they kept this one as an investment. One 30 round "BFI" manufactured magazine is included. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish near excellent original finish with slight loss of finish at the high edges of the flash hider. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. This is a select fire machine gun. A very desirable and wonderful opportunity for the modern machine gun collector. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4.
