Semi and full auto selector rotating switch on left side of receiver with a safety at the front of trigger guard reminiscent of the M1 Garand. Flip-up rear sight off-set to left to allow for top load magazine in the Bren gun style. Ejection port to left side. The Stoner 63A was used by Special Operations and Marine units during the Vietnam war and was widely regarded as the finest of the modern machine gun platforms. Incredibly versatile it can be converted to either right or left hand feed as well as top feeding box magazine as this model is. Very scarce in any configuration a very limited number of these guns were assembled onto Knight's Armament Co. manufactured receivers using remaining G.I. and some new manufactured parts. Fully transferable specimens are highly sought collectors items. They are an utter joy to shoot. This is a National Firearms Act item and requires BATF approval prior to transfer. This weapon is fully transferable on an ATF form 3 or form 4. CONDITION: Overall appears extremely fine original factory blue finish throughout. Only the slightest handling marks discernible upon the closest inspection. Shows little if any use without any brassing to the magazine well. Appears unfired! Mechanics are crisp, brilliant bright extremely fine bore. Wooden handle very fine. Composite parts also very fine to extremely fine. The condition does not get any better than this. 53234-3 JWK (50,000-100,000)
