The Aeolian Co. published history indicates that they felt the Style 1500 organ marked a definite forward step in the development of Aeolian instruments since it could play a 46-note roll and the quality case woods used. The factory label indicates this is the Colonial model, Lot 361, Serial No. 15963, indicating a manufacture date of 1900. The body is red mahogany and there are still areas with the gorgeous, original high polish. It has classic fluted columns with Ionic capitals and some damage commensurate with its age, as well as some more significant damage into the wood along the bottom of the sides. It has a 58-key keyboard and 15 stop knobs for different voices.
Condition: (Very Good).
Item Dimensions: 28"L x 65-3/4"W x 60"H.
