Absolutely fantastic assortment of desirable German Maxim 08/15 machine gun parts from the estate of an advanced and discerning longtime collector. All parts are Maxim 08/15 unless otherwise noted: one complete muzzle booster, one muzzle gland for firing gun without booster, three muzzle sleeves to convert standard MG-08 barrels to MG 08/15, one reproduction steam port cover with good prongs, one water fill cap without wooden thumb piece, one reproduction trunnion adapter mount for MG-08 to Chinese Type 24 tripod or MG 08/15 bipod, two top covers less rear latches (Rh M & M, and Erfurt both 1918 dated), one top cover pivot pin and one top cover latch and screw, three MG 08/15 feed blocks (one with broken lower feed pawl arm), two reproduction lower feed pawl arms, one Turkish belt chute assembly (slides onto drum hanger), one fusee cover with spring assembly, two complete lock assemblies, one set of siderails, crosshead, and charging lever, one charging lever with knob handle broken off, one broken reproduction MG34 spider sight, one MG-08/15 spider sight base only, one World War I unmodified buttstock assembly with backplate and check lever, one Weimar era retrofitted buttstock assembly with oil reservoir and cap, one complete handgrip with trigger and screws less trigger spring, two fairly worn yet original wooden pistol grips, and worn or otherwise questionable spare lock parts in bag labeled "parts replaced after rebuild by Dolf Goldsmith" which contains two firing pins, two sears, and two lock springs. CONDITION: All appear to be in serviceable condition except as noted above with a 4" crack on the left side of the Weimar era buttstock, with otherwise light handling marks to the wood. Metal parts range from good (fusee cover) to extremely fine (locks). Many Maxim 08/15 machine guns are out there missing and needing exactly these parts to make them more complete and desirable. Very seldom are so many useful and really quite fine condition parts offered for sale to the collecting public.
